The Fringe Press and Performance Centre, just down the narrow close at the side of the Fringe Shop and Box Office is not usually a public venue, but rather the place where Fringe staff connect with media and performers. However, it is listed in the Fringe Programme as a venue for the Allen Wright Award, named after long time local Scotsman arts editor who helped nurture many young talents and was a passionate supporter of the Fringe. The award is given to a promising young critic towards the end of the run of the Fringe. Deadline for submissions at the press office is noon on 18 August and you must be aged 30 or younger to submit your review.
