Lauriston Castle is set in 30 acres of parkland and formal gardens with spectacular views overlooking the Firth of Forth. A 19th century mansion built around a 16th century tower house, the Castle has been home to a number of notable Scots.

It was entrusted to the care of City of Edinburgh Council in 1926.

Admission is free.
